Great news for anyone who fell in love with Muskoka after watching
but didn’t inherit a lake house from their estranged grandfather:
, the actual property at the center of the hit show, is officially coming to Airbnb.
In the Prime Video series, protagonist Annie Rubin makes a pilgrimage to the property—located on a fictional island called Sterling Point—after finding out it has been willed to her after the death of her grandfather, Gordon. Now, fans will be able to call this same
allowing guests to request one of three special stays at the five-bedroom lakeside lodge this fall. Bookings open on September 15 at 9 a.m. ET, and the stays will take place October 2 to 5, October 9 to 12, and October 16 to 19, with a price tag of $180 a night. If you’re looking to cosplay as Annie, Ellis, Connor, or Ramona, set your alarm now—these dates are going to go quick.
While Gordon Bay Cottage serves as the façade for Gordon’s cottage, interior scenes were filmed on a soundstage in
, about two hours south of Muskoka. That means while the outside of the home will look familiar—cedar-shingled gables, wraparound porch, stone steps leading down to the water, Muskoka chair–dotted dock—the interiors aren’t what you’d expect. While Gordon’s place in the show looks like it hasn’t been updated in a few decades, the property up for grabs on Airbnb appears fresh and modern, with hardwood floors, bright white walls, and contemporary but comfortable furniture. Probably not Ramona’s style, but definitely ideal for a luxurious long weekend on the lake.
The real Gordon Bay Cottage also sits right on Lake Joseph, one of the most popular and sought-after lakes in the Muskoka region, which means a stay here will come with all the trappings of a classic Canadian summer getaway. Sweepstakes winners should come with their
and be prepared to “shower” in the lake, drink some Steam Whistles around the firepit, drive their boats to dinner, and gulp down some fresh air while staring at the stars.
